Augusta Lewis Troup School

We are Troup, where our students ROCK.
A.L. Troup is a K-8 neighborhood school. Our students ROCK, which encompasses our core values of respect, ownership, citizenship and knowledge. The Troup Family is focused on preparing EVERY student with the academics, skills, attitudes and experiences they need to be successful in life. Whether our students go to college or right into the work force, we encourage them to think critically and collaboratively and engage in activities that will also strengthen their social and emotional learning. Troup is also in the process of expanding our music program. We have a collection of guitars and other instruments to make beautiful music right here in our school.

How to know our school is right for your child:

  • Your child learns through one-to one Chromebook access and updated technology.
  • Your child would benefit from small group instruction.
  • Your child would benefit from engaging in discourse about curriculum, with peers and teachers.
