Ross Woodward Classical Studies Interdistrict Magnet

Learning About Yesterday To Build A New Tomorrow
Ross Woodward Classical Studies Magnet School's emphasis is on Socratic questioning and intellectual coaching which fosters the process of discovery. We nurture active learning and personal growth. At Ross Woodward we believe that students learn best when they are active thinkers who construct their own knowledge. Higher-order questioning and student dialogue are the central teaching and learning device at Ross Woodward. Holding school seminars is a beloved tradition at our school. Seminars give everyone the opportunity to think, listen and speak about our core values and the ideas upon which our school is built.

How to know our school is right for your child:

  • Your child loves history and how understanding the past impacts our world today.
  • Your child is an active thinker who likes to question, think and debate by engaging in intellectual dialogue.
  • Your child likes to dive into ideas and explore them through hands-on, project-based learning.

About Our Theme:

  • Ross Woodward Classical Studies Magnet School embraces the whole child. We teach them to be independent thinkers and to look through a critical lens when learning.
