John S. Martinez Sea and Sky STEM Magnet

Together, we SOAR to SUCCESS to DO OUR BEST and BE EXTRAORDINARY!
Our school promotes an innovative, supportive, and rigorous thinking environment, where all students succeed and achieve academically and socially. Students explore the hydrosphere, atmosphere, space, and human impact on the sea and sky in student-centered classrooms that utilize a STEM based approach. We provide a variety of opportunities to increase engagement, academic awareness, English language acquisition, and social-emotional learning all while fostering a growth mindset. By educating the whole child, we provide students the necessary skills to be problem solvers, innovative thinkers, and understand how their actions impact the world around them.

How to know our school is right for your child:

  • Your child learns best in a collaborative atmosphere that encourages student discourse and project-based learning.
  • Your child is an independent thinker who is curious about the world around them and seeks innovative ways to solve problems.
  • Your child enjoys swimming, engineering, coding, and hands-on learning.

About Our Theme:

  • We believe in a student-led approach that utilizes STEM-based learning opportunities to foster curiosity about the world around us in order to be advocates for a better, brighter tomorrow!
