Bishop Woods Architecture and Design Magnet

Yes, We Can!
Our vision is for students to see themselves as planners and designers who can create a more desirable future for themselves and for others. While exploring natural and built environments – in their school, their community, and the City of New Haven - students will identify and solve authentic problems through the lenses of architecture and design.

How to know our school is right for your child:

  • You see your child as a designer, creator, and builder who enjoys hands-on learning.
  • You value a culture of high expectations where students develop as optimistic thinkers and problem solvers.
  • Your child is excited about science, technology, engineering, and math.

About Our Theme:

  • Our theme is engaging and real world, allowing for students to be creative and connected to their community.
