Transportation to New Haven Interdistrict Magnet Schools is available free of charge to the following towns:

In an effort to accommodate all students and to keep within time restraints, bus stops will be located within a three-block radius of your home. In some cases, the transportation time can exceed an hour each way, but safety will always be the number one priority.
New Haven Transportation Services
New Haven Board Education transportation department’s number one goal is to provide safe and reliable bus service for students in grades KG –Gr 12. Currently, we serve 21,414 students and travel 19,240 miles per day.
Please note: Kindergarten and first grade students must be met by a parent or designated adult at their bus stops. The Transportation Guideline Book can be found at http://www.nhps.net/node/429.

Transportation Procedures for School Closings/Delays
Tune in to WTNH or WTNH.com for the latest closings and delays.
If New Haven Interdistrict Magnet Schools are open and your town’s school district has closed, NO AM TRANSPORTATION to New Haven from your town will be provided.
If New Haven Interdistrict Magnet Schools are on a delay, then there is a delay to New Haven-based on the New Haven delay time. If there is a discrepancy between New Haven and your town’s delay time, New Haven’s delay time will prevail.
If New Haven Interdistrict Magnet Schools are not on a delay and your town is delayed, NO AM TRANSPORTATION will be provided on that day for that town.
